We want to be able to help serve all. However we would like to clarify our shop's limitations, outline the ways we strive to accommodate our clients, and highlight what we are able to provide.

We are fortunate to operate from a beautiful, listed building. However, this means our shop includes multiple levels and steps. If you are planning to visit Clifton Suits and have any concerns about accessibility, please contact us so our team can provide the best possible assistance. Alternatively, we offer a home visiting tailoring service for clients who prefer a more convenient experience to order their bespoke garments.

About our shop

Our shop has a step at the entrance, but we provide a portable ramp to assist wheelchair access. Please note that because the shop is on a slope, the ramp will require assistance when in use. Once inside, we can conduct consultations and fittings in the front area of the shop to avoid any further steps, and chairs can be provided for temporary seating. However, Our main seating areas are located up an additional step.

Please be aware that our shop does not currently have an accessible friendly restroom or baby changing facilities. We play background music in the shop, which can be turned down or switched off upon request. Our lighting is clear and bright without being overwhelming, and our wooden floorboards may present small gaps that could affect mobility.

Our shop features a wide variety of garments and accessories. While every effort has been made to ensure smooth passage around the space, extra care or adaptations may be needed to ensure a safe and comfortable visit. Our team is always happy to assist with any support you may need during your time with us.

Visiting Tailoring Service

We understand that visiting our shop can be challenging, even before you arrive. To make the process easier, we offer a visiting tailoring service for clients who would like bespoke garments made from the comfort of their own home. We can bring a curated selection of fabrics and linings to your appointment, discuss your preferred style, and begin the garment-making process with you. Once your garments are ready, we can return to your home for final fittings, ensuring a convenient, comfortable, and stress-free experience.

How to get to us

Our shop is located on the west side of the Clifton Triangle and is accessible by car, bus, or train. If you are traveling by car, there is pay-and-display parking outside and on nearby streets, as well as an NCP car park on Jacob’s Well Road. For public transport, the nearest bus stops are Triangle West and Queen’s Road. If you are arriving by train, you can get off at Clifton Down and enjoy a relatively short walk down Road, or if coming from Temple Meads, you can take a taxi or catch a bus for a more direct journey. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you need advice on the most accessible route—we’re happy to help make your visit as smooth as possible.
