What’s one piece of advice you’d give someone wearing a suit?

Always get it tailored. A well-fitted suit should follow your shape, not overwhelm you. It makes all the difference.

What’s your favourite cloth from our bespoke collection?

That’s a tough one — there are so many incredible options. But I’d have to say Fox Brothers Worsted Flannel. It features stunning checks, chalk stripes, and plains in super-fine merino wool — soft to the touch yet incredibly durable. Plus, the mill is local, which makes it even more special to support.

How would you describe the Clifton Suits experience to someone who’s never been?

People return to what they can trust — and for us, that means exceptional cloth and dependable, personal service.

What’s your most memorable moment at Clifton Suits?

That would be my first made-to-measure suit. It was a classic blue, but having something crafted to fit perfectly — in exactly the style I wanted — was unforgettable.

How has your personal style evolved since joining the suit industry?

I’ve embraced more casual tailoring for everyday wear. A well-cut jacket and trousers always look sharp, even outside the workplace.

If you could make one suit for anyone, who would it be?

Guy Ritchie. He wears beautiful check suits with a 1940s vibe but always adds a modern twist. I can already think of several fabrics that would suit him perfectly.

Outside of work, what’s one of your passions?

Jazz music — whether it’s spinning a classic record at home or enjoying live performances in a club or bar.

He How did you get into the tailoring industry?

I’ve been fascinated by tailoring and its history since I was young. The more suits I bought, the more I immersed myself in it. During the pandemic, I began buying and selling vintage men’s suits and garments online. Once restrictions eased, I started trading at vintage fairs and events, which really deepened my passion for the craft.

Do you have a personal favourite style?

Definitely 1940s–1950s. There’s an elegance and timelessness to those decades that really appeals to me.
